I welcome you to the month of February, how quickly time goes by, praise God for His faithfulness and mercy. When I think of the month of February, I think of the month when a lot of people loose their momentum. Many people start the New Year with great enthusiasm; big goals, great aspirations, wonderful resolutions and many big plans. Most times many are barely able to maintain the momentum past the month of January; by the time February comes the great euphoria of the New Year has been lost, they go back to their old ways, old habits and to those things they left behind the previous year. Unfortunately this makes many to simply give up on their dreams and continue life as usual. I have a feeling this is probably the situation many of you reading have found yourselves now.

If you are currently in this situation, I have an admonition for you from the Lord; why don't you make February a new beginning for your life. Instead of waiting until next year January to begin again, you can reset your clock now and start afresh. When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Exodus 12:2 "This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year." In other words, the Lord restarted their clock so as to recreate the momentum. You can also restart your clock this month and regain any lost momentum. Start that workout again, start that bible study plan again, start working on your goal again, don't allow the enemy to break your momentum and delay your miracle.

Forget about what is lost, it is too little compared to what will be lost if you allow yourselves to be discouraged. Our God is a restorer, He can restore any days or years the locusts have eaten. Joel 2:25. The devil is in the business of stealing time and year, but God is in the business of restoring them. Let us together make February a new beginning for what God has in stock. God bless!
