Currently the leadership of Agape House is comprised of eleven godly men and women who are sold-out to God and to His purpose. This team is led by Pastor Jide Lawore and together they direct the spiritual and physical affairs of the Church.
Pastor Jide is committed to bringing the message or the kingdom to people all over the world. This he does locally at AHOW and internationally through his World Outreach Ministry which takes him all over the world as God opens doors. He has the grace of teaching and a genuine love for people which is evident in how he communicates the Word of God in a simple, practical but insightful manner. His mission is to enlighten and empower people through the inspired Word of God accompanied by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is called to help people discover their position in Christ and their potential in life. His ministry is marked by signs and wonder of healings, freedom from all kinds of oppression and impartation of the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
He has authored two widely acclaimed books: Extreme Makeover: The Secret of Genuine Transformation and GPS-God’s Positioning System: Locating God’s Plan for Your Life. He is happily married to his lovely wife, Bimbola Lawore who is also an ordained Pastor and a co-laborer in the ministry, and together they are blessed with three lovely children, Joel, Ebunoluwa and Ifeoluwa.
Pastor Bimbola is passionate worshiper, intercessor and lover of God. She is driven by a desire for women to know their identity in Christ and live a life of purpose. She believes every woman is specially designed by God to add value and beauty to this world. Her life mission is summarized in Isaiah 61:1-3. She is a loving teacher, counselor and leader. Her passion for women to thrive led her to pioneer the Agape House of Worship Women’s Ministry called the Women of Purpose. She is also the founder of Pastors’ Wives Network a ministry that focuses on empowering and encouraging Pastors’ wives to Flourish in their calling. She co-pastors Agape House of Worship with her husband and best friend Pastor Jide Lawore, together they are blessed with three wonderful children, Joel, Ebun and Ife.
Pastor Bimbola holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Management Information Systems from Rutgers University Newark, NJ and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Kean University, Union, NJ and she works as an Auditor. To relax, she enjoys listening to worship music, reading and drinking coffee!
Yewande Efodili is energetic prophetic intercessor, counselor and leader in charge of the AHOW annual Church Retreat, Daily Morning Devotion, Caregiving, Beautification Ministry and The Sophia group (a fellowship group created to cater for the single parents in our midst). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and works as a Director of Billing in the healthcare industry. In the community Yewande is the Middlesex County Prayer Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer. Yewande is also the founder and President of Touch Link a nonprofit 501c3 organization that supports victims & survivors of Domestic violence, for more information, go to www.tochlink.org for. Yewande and her late husband, Manny, are blessed with four children: Wonu, Ebele, Micah and Matthew. Yewande’s hobbies include, traveling, dancing and sleeping.
Deacon Tunji is one of the founding ministers of Agape House of Worship and continues to serve as a minister today. He has been a passionate leader in bringing the vision of the church to reality as he leads the Information Technology, Church Website, Digital Media and Singles ministries. He and his team organize the yearly Night of Worship where we experience the powerful move of God in worship.
He is an Information Technology professional, an experienced UNIX Systems Administrator and IT Project Manager. He is also the founder of a Technology Solutions company that serves clients in the U.S. and Nigeria.
Tunji also served in the U.S. Army and National Guard which concluded after he returned from his deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he received the Army Achievement Medal. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and is married to his lovely wife, Kehinde and they are blessed with 3 children.
Tunde is a Board Certified physician by profession. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Jersey City. He currently serves as the minister in charge of the AHOW Missions and World outreach ministry and also oversees the Healthcare and wellness ministry at AHOW. He has a passion to see Jesus’ words in Acts 1:8 fulfilled in this generation! For people to be empowered to be Christ’s witnesses to the ends of the earth! He truly believes that every Christian should prosper and be in good health even as their souls prosper so that they can be used by God to carry out the great commission.
He is happily married to his lovely wife, Tosin.
Deacon Ade is very passionate about maximizing the ministry of the Holy Spirit within our church community; particularly the gift of prophecy. As a Deacon, he serves in the Prayer Ministry and the Christian Education Ministry. Ade was previously a pioneer member and Secretary of the Board of Trustees at Agape House. He currently serves on the Board of Touchlink, a non-profit organization devoted to assisting victims of domestic violence.
Ade is an investment banker working in midtown New York. He completed his MBA at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and his undergraduate degree at Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta GA.
Ade resides in New Jersey and is happily married to Dolapo and they are blessed with two wonderful kids – Adebolu and Erin. He is an aspiring author, enjoys traveling, writing and wouldn’t mind attending a fine culinary school someday.
Deacon Kip has served for the past nine years as the Church Administrator for the Agape House of Worship. He is also the overseeing minister of the Facilities Management Team, Transportation Ministry and Church Office Administration. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with Specialization in Management from the University of Florida. Deacon Kip has been married for over twenty-five years to his lovely wife, Michelle and they have two children, Kolbi and Christian.
Deacon Kip is truly honored to work in partnership with Pastor Jide and the AHOW Leadership Team to bring the “Vision of God” to completion here at the Agape House of Worship. He also uses his twenty-five years of Church Administration experience to serve as a consultant to Pastors and Churches throughout the state of New Jersey.
Gladys is an intense worship leader and lover of God. In her own words – “My one prayer every time I get to minister whether as a soloist or leading people in worship is ‘All of Him and none of me’! I want to introduce people not to the song but to the God behind the song so they can experience the same love and the peace of this God that I sing about”. I believe strongly that every experience in worship should be deeper than the one before.
Gladys holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management from Kean University and a Master’s Degree in HealthCare Administration from Rutgers, NJ and she currently works as a Systems Analyst at NYU Langone. She is married to the love of her life, Olusola, with two children, Nife and Fife.
Deacon Tayo serves in the Youth and Parking Ministries. He is dedicated to nurturing teenagers in the way of the Lord by empowering them with biblical principles and the power of prayer. As a member of the parking ministry, he is committed to creating a pleasant experience for everyone visiting AHOW and the pleasant experience begins in the parking lot.
Deacon Tayo has a Master’s degree in Information Systems & Management and is currently finishing his MBA at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. Tayo is an accountant by profession and works with clients in the private equity, real estate and hedge fund industry.
He lives in NJ and is happily married to his wonderful wife Abby, they are blessed with twin daughters, Jordan and Joella.
Deaconess Genevieve is a passionate woman of God who is committed to serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in every area of life. She serves in the Special Needs, Sozo, Connection and Marriage Ministry. She received her doctorate in Pharmacy with Honors from the University of Illinois and currently works as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Oncology and Pain Management, and is an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University School of Pharmacy.
Deaconess Genevieve has been happily married for over 20 years to her husband, Deacon Robert, and they have three children. She founded and leads an international ministry that serves individuals with Autism; for more information visit mygoalautism.org.
Kehinde Olatubosun is fondly called “HM” or “Boss Lady”, because of her role in the Children’s Ministry. Her responsibilities at Agape House as a Minister include the Potter’s House (Children’s Ministry) and AWANA ministries. She has a passion for children growing in the knowledge of God, prayer, hospitality and counseling people.
Minister Kehinde received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in the state of New Jersey. She is a Registered Nurse and has worked many years in the field of Nursing. She is married to her charming husband, Deacon Tunji Olatubosun and they’re blessed with three lovely children.
Tunde heads our Office of Workers’ Affairs (OWA) team. An author, researcher, editor, activist, trainer, job counselor, and Bible scholar, he has taught and preached the Word of God in Canada, US, UK, and Germany. He holds a PhD in mass communications from the University of Leicester, UK and is an adjunct professor of International Human Rights at the City University of New York’s Hunter College, and deputy program director at Human Rights Watch, an international nonprofit.
Before joining Human Rights Watch in 2011, Tunde worked at Christian Aid, London; Transparency International, Berlin; and Danish Center for Human Rights, Copenhagen. He was executive director and cofounder of Centre for Free Speech, Nigeria’s first specialist freedom of expression group; Chief of Research and Publications at Nigeria’s Constitutional Rights Project, and before then he was reporter, copy editor, and assistant editor in various publications, including Nigeria’s official news agency, News Agency of Nigeria; African Concord and ThisWeek news magazines.
Tunde was a British Chevening fellow, a fellow of the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University (New York), Equitas, formerly Canadian Human Rights Foundation (Montreal), Danish Institute for Human Rights (Copenhagen), and the International Institute of Social Studies (The Hague).
