Ministry Philosophy

Agape House is driven by the passionate desire for excellent service by members. Ministry teams provide opportunities for the members to participate in service to the rest of the Body of Christ. At Agape House our Members are the ministers while our pastors are administrators.

Below is the list of the ministry opportunities currently in Agape House. The opportunities are not limited to these teams, but they are a good place to get started. We believe that as we grow, more responsibilities and opportunities will be given to us by God to serve the people and our community.

Membership Orientation Class - A101

About Membership Orientation Class A101 - Becoming a member of AHOW is expressing your commitment to this “spiritual family,” a family that worships together, grows in faith together, and serves one another.

AHOW Membership Orientation Class (A101) provides you with a good introduction to our church family in a relaxed and non-intrusive setting. The class discusses the significance of our new life in Christ, covers topics like significance of baptism and holy communion. We also discuss the vision and values of AHOW, the benefits of becoming a member and what is expected of our members.

The class provides you with an opportunity to hear about our church's history, priorities and structure. The class holds at 12 noon every 2nd Saturday of the month, the entire duration is five hours which includes a one-hour lunch break with a free lunch provided by the Church.
