VBS Décor and Assembly: For weeks before VBS, our volunteers are hard at work creating the fabulous décor and artwork that provides the backdrop for leading our children to Christ. If you are creative or handy, please consider adopting one or more projects to complete before VBS begins.
During the week prior to VBS we will have small and large projects here in church for you to stop by and work on for as little as 30 minutes or as long as you like. We ask that you sign up for this so that we can be ready for your help when you arrive.
Classroom Team: This is our greatest need during VBS. Come lead (or co-lead), laugh and help kids learn about God for one week 6:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. each day.
Craft Team: Our craft station is a fun filled area of re-enforcing the day’s Bible story through a craft project. All supplies will be grouped for the day; some prep may be required, i.e. sorting for each age group. Your task will be to explain/demonstrate the craft and tie it into the lesson from the day.
Music Team: Sing, dance, dress up and have fun as you teach and lead songs.
Snacks: Our snack team prepares the snacks each day for both the children and the volunteers.
Other: We need help with cleaning after each day of fun. We need you!
Administration, Registration & Greeters: Every day there is a need to have assistance with registration, check-in and directing parents and children to the appropriate places, especially Monday and Tuesday. Your role will be helping parents and children with new registrations, volunteer check-in, and directing people where they need to be. All materials will be provided and specific instructions for how to register new children.
If you have technical skills, we need you on our team!
